Paris Hilton Shares "Mindful Moment" of Son Phoenix and Dogs After Losing Malibu Home in Fire

Paris Hilton Watches Malibu Beach House Burn Down in Palisades Fire on Live TV

Paris Hilton is focusing on the positive.

After The Simple Life star—who shares kids Phoenix, 2, and London, 14 months, with husband Carter Reum—lost her Malibu home in the Los Angeles wildfires, she shared an uplifting message.

“Some sleepy Pheeny and puppy footage for your feed,” Paris wrote in a Jan. 19 Instagram post alongside an adorable video of her sleeping son and puppies. “Through everything that’s going on around us, sometimes we need an adorable reminder to take a mindful moment for ourselves.”

Indeed, Paris, 43, shared a glimpse into the devastation caused by the LA fires, which began Jan. 7 in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood and left her $ million home that was reduced to ashes.

“When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock—I couldn’t process it,” Paris wrote in a Jan. 9 Instagram post, where she showed off the remnants of her home. “But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces. This house wasn’t just a place to live—it was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family.”

Paris continued, “It was where Phoenix’s little hands made art that I’ll cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it reduced to ashes—it’s devastating beyond words.”

And Paris wasn’t the only star to lose her home. In fact, Mandy Moore, Billy Crystal and Milo Ventimiglia are among the 10, who lost their residences in the fires.

“What breaks my heart even more is knowing that this isn’t just my story,” Paris emphasized in her post. “So many people have lost everything. It’s not just walls and roofs—it’s the memories that made those houses homes. It’s the photos, the keepsakes, the irreplaceable pieces of our lives.”

Despite the loss, Paris expressed appreciation that she still had what was most important: her family.

“That’s the most important thing,” Paris noted. “I’m holding onto that gratitude with everything I have. And beyond grateful to all the firefighters, first responders and volunteers risking their lives to fight these fires.”
