  • She talked about becoming an actor as a child and how she got her first advertisement, in an interview, and said,

    I don’t have a family background in the acting field, I am the very first person from my family who stepped into this. So it wasn’t very easy. When I was around 4-5 years old, I was a cute kid, very expressive and outgoing, not at all shy. So everyone used to suggest my parents that I should try a hand at acting, so my parents got my portfolio done and after a lot of struggle I finally did an ad.”

  • Navika is a foodie and has struggled with keeping her weight down since childhood. Her first weight loss journey happened during the shooting of ‘English Vinglish’ (2011) when she was only 11 years old. She gained some weight again and at her heaviest, she weighed just over 76 kg. After starting her YouTube channel, she went on another successful weight loss journey and was able to come down to a healthier weight of 55 kg.

  • In 2022, she was rumoured to be dating fellow actor, Paras Kalnawat. Although Navika hasn’t talked about the rumours, Paras Kalnawat, in an interview, said that,

    Navika and I are very good friends. I share everything with her. In fact, we are a gang of three — Palak (Sidhwani), Navika and me. We hang out together a lot.”

    Although I love dancing, when I first got to know that I have to perform Garba for a sequence in the show, I was a little nervous. I had to learn a lot of new steps and the nuances of Garba to make it look authentic on screen.”
